About Us

Our Farm

We are a family owned and operated apple orchard located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina. Our family has been growing apples for six generations, starting way back in the mid 1800s when (Ty) Perry Lowe, III’s great-grandfather, William Tilford Lowe, started growing apples for sale.

After Ty’s father Perry Lowe, Jr., died in 1990 he took over the business. Perry, IV, Matthew, Jessica and husband Eric all play a vital role in the family business. We are thankful for the generations before us and the blessing of continuing to grow apples in this beautiful place. We have over 100 acres of apples with over 30 varieties of apples.

We also press and pasteurize our own apple ciders, including special variety blends. We also dehydrate our own apples in 7 different varieties that are 100% natural and make a delicious snack or baking pies. We did not stop at just apples; we also grow peaches! We have been offering Pre-K – 3rd grade school field trips for 3 generations. In Fall 2019, we offered our first U-Pick.
